DragonFly Gallery is an art gallery in West Chester, PA which focusses on objet d'art that can become part of every day life and not just appreciated from afar. The gallery exhibits an eclectic mix of items from paintings and sculpture to jewelry and fashion accessories that cannot be considered anything but wearable art.
DragonFly wanted a website that they could update themselves. They also wanted to manage an online catalog of the art that they carried but instead of allowing the items to be purchased directly, they wanted to develop a more intimate connection to their clients. Amskape built a custom application that allows them to login and manage the content themselves. The application also allows their client to make a "wish list" of items that they would like to purchase and submit it with their contact information. The wish list is emailed to the gallery. The gallery can then call the clients directly and discuss the sale with the client directly, ensuring client satisfaction. The application has been in use for over 4 years and continues to be a success.
